Oct. 26: The festal celebrations of the annual feast of Holy Rosary Church Alangar began with Vespers at 6.30pm on 25th October 2011. The Bible was venerated by carrying the same in procession to the altar. The service began with the recitation of Psalms by Rev Fr Naveen Pinto, Asst, Parish Priest, holy Redeemer Church, Derebail. Fr Anil D’Silva – headmaster, Milagres High school, Kallianpur read the Gospel and preached an appropriate homily. The service concluded with adoration of the Blessed Sacrament.

Though there was rain and inclement weather many of our parishioners attended the service. There were guest priests and also people from other parishes who attended the service.

There was a brilliant display of fireworks which lit up the evening sky.
