Dec. 24: Solemn christmas high mass was celebrated at Alangar Holy Rosary church on 24th night. Fr Basil Vas the parish priest was the main celebrent, Fr Prakash Lobo OFM cap the assistant parish priest preached the very meaningfull homily said that  JESUS will transform our lives from misery to glory ,sickness to health ,curses to blessings ,sins to holiness if at all we surrender our lives to JESUS like JOSEPH, MARY, shepherds and magi and told us never to be like Herod .

Hundreds of people gatherd for this open air celebration soon after the mass there were inter ward bible skit competitions ,cake draw and other entertainments were also conducted by ICYM Alangar .Cake and tea were distributed to all .
