April 1, 2013 : Easter celebration at Alangar Church was held at 7 PM on Saturday 30th March with a Solemn and meaning full Vigil mass presided over by the Parish priest Rev. Fr. Basil Vas. Rev. Fr. Prakash Lobo. OFM cap preached a very good homily in which he said that the Resurrection is a gift of God. If we accept it, we will be saved. If we reject it we will be doomed. Almost a thousand people attended the vigil service.
