Solemn celebration began with the blessing of new corn at the gate. Hundreds of children along with their parents were around the new corn and the decorated statue of Infant Mary. There was a procession to the church along with the blessed corn and the the statue. Whole road was a flower carpet to honor Mother Mary. Thanks to the little children.

Rev. Fr. Basil Vas celebrated the solemn high mass. In the sermon father stressed on the theme devout and healthy family, mutual respect, obedience, responsible parenthood, Marian devotion, respect for the girl child were the salient points.

Cake and Sugarcane were distributed to all the people.
