Elders Day was celebrated at Alangar Church on 28 Sept, 2014 by the Parish Council in collaboration with St. Vincent De Paul Society, Catholic Sabha and ICYM, Alangar. Over a 100 elders and the sick persons participated in it. ICYM members brought the sick people by vehicles. Solemn mass was celebrated by Fr. Basil Vas and Fr. Claud O.P. gave a meaningful homily. At the end of the mass there was a healing session and anointing of all. After the mass there was a facilitation program, and lunch for all.
