Celebration of Feasts retains traditions, strengthens relations

Oct. 26, 2016:  The annual parish priest of Holy Rosary Church Alangar – Moodbidri was celebrated on the 26th of October. Hundreds of devotees and 35 priests joined in celebrating the solemn Eucharistic celebration, presided over by Most Rev Dr William D’Souza, Archbishop of the Archdiocese of Patna. Celebration of feasts retains traditions and strengthens familial bonds said the Archbishop in his message. Very Rev Fr Paul Sequeira dean of Moodbidri Deanery, broke the word and called us to reflect on Mother Mary a person of love and called us to build families of love. Local MLA Mr Abhaychandra Jain came with his greetings post Eucharist and wished all of us.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Parish priest Fr Basil Vas and Asst Fr Kenneth Crasta thanked everyone. Parish Council Vice- President Mr Jerald Lobo, Secretary Mr Santhosh Rodrigues and Municipality Member and parish council member Mr P.K. Thomas were present along with all the other devotees.
