Dec 24, 2016: Rejoice, for today unto us as Saviour is born. The birth of our Lord Jesus Christ brings happiness to all of mankind. In a world troubled with wars and suffering this day reminds us of the peace and tranquility a little infant brings along. He came down from heaven, took on himself the weakness of human flesh to save us all from sin and free us from oppression. To receive him in our homes and especially our hearts is to say that we are truly happy to be transformed.
Fr Basil Vas the parish priest presided over the solemn Eucharistic celebration. Post mass the youth of Alangar organised a small entertainment program in the festive mood of Christmas. Mr Dinesh Hegde, Manager of the Corporation Bank Alangar shared his Christmas wishes. The speciality of this year was the Kuswar which was made here at the Church by various ward members under the leadership of Women Association. Kuswar was distributed after mass to everyone present.
May the Joy of this day last for a life time. We wish you a very Happy and a grace filled Christmas Season
