Agricultural training for Parish youth at Sylvester Rego's paddy field was held on 11th August 2019. Group of parish youth and parishioners gathered in a prepared paddy field. They learnt from experienced paddy cultivators how to pluck the paddy plants and replant them. They planted the paddy plants in a big field.

When they went to the field their colourful dress became more colourful. For many it was a maiden experience. It all happened because of the interest, planning and generosity of Mr Sylvester Rego of Ruzai Ward. Parish Priest accompanied the youth and began the program with a short prayer service.
