Jan 14, 2011: Eighth Day of the Novena of Infant Jesus. Prayers were conducted by Rev Fr Alban D’Souza the parish priest of Pakshikere Church. Today there were special prayers for the sick. Father preached on the theme healing. He said that we are healed by the grace of God. Jesus heals us this is our faith and hope. Strong faith in God, repentance of our sins, reconciliation with our neighbors are the conditions for a healing.

The church was crowded with people; many sick people were brought even from the distant places. The devotees brought many gifts in order to support the free meal to be given to all after the feast mass.
