March 11, 2013 : Catechism sunday was celebrated at Alangar parish on 24-02-13. Fr. Joseph D'Souza OP presided over the Mass as well as the programme thereafter. Fr Joseph told the children about the great treasure that they have got thru catechism and that treasure would grow by living the truths of the bible and by preaching. Fr Basil Vas the Parish priest appreciated the teachers and the students. There was a beautiful thematic programme by each class. Mrs Stella Pinto the coordinator read the report. All the high scorers were rewarded with the prizes. The teachers too were rewarded with a valuable gift. Many parents too attended the programme.
