Dec 30 : Infant Jesus Novena began in preparation for the feast of Infant Jesus to be celebrated on 8 January 2023 at Infant Jesus Shrine, Alangar.

V. Rev Fr Onil DSouza, Vicar Forane of Moodbidri deanery hoisted the festival flag and inaugurated 9-day spiritual preparation for the feast.

"We need to prepare spiritually for the feast. The Holy family is the best example for us where all the three obeyed the will of God and surrendered to his ways, thus they became holy and an example for all of us. Let this preparation for the feast help us to be holy and lead us to Jesus to grow in his love", said Fr Onil.

Fr Onil later celebrated the Holy Mass and prayed for the devotees. Mass was followed by Novena to Infant Jesus.

Meal was served to all the devotees present.
